Job Responsibilities

At Tingvallagymnasiet, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment where you can develop both professionally and personally.

We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to a calm and safe working environment by acting as a teaching assistant and thereby offering activities that promote well-being and togetherness. Central to this role is providing support individually and in groups, as well as helping students develop effective study techniques and strategies. You will also support and guide students to other complementary or advanced support.

In this position, you will be a present adult in the school's common areas and support students in their social development. You will actively contribute to ensuring that Tingvallagymnasiet has a study environment where all students can focus and develop, thus achieving their knowledge goals.

Qualifications

To succeed as a teaching assistant at Tingvallagymnasiet, you need to communicate clearly and effectively with both students and colleagues. As a person, you take significant personal responsibility, have patience in your interactions with students, and actively work towards a calm and safe study environment.

You have experience working with students and can adapt your support to their individual needs. You are adaptable and can handle a varied workday with different tasks. You enjoy working in a team and contribute to a positive work climate. Additionally, you are motivated to help students reach their goals and develop.

You are a qualified teaching assistant and/or have an education or experience that the employer deems equivalent.

If you have knowledge and/or training regarding students with NPF, low-arousal approaches, intercultural competence, and if you speak multiple languages, it is an advantage.
