UX Designer for Region Östergötland

Responsibilities

As a UX designer focused on usability, you will work through the entire development journey – from early user studies to coordinating design and testing of the final solution. You will be responsible for the user experience in several parallel assignments, where the goal is to create solutions that meet the needs of a broad target audience. Your tasks will include:

• Conducting user studies and gathering requirements
• Creating interaction designs and prototypes
• Planning and conducting usability tests
• Ensuring that the solutions comply with accessibility requirements (WCAG)
• Working closely with developers, testers, and other competencies

Your Profile and Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience as a UX designer. You work independently, lead parts of the design process, and support colleagues. You have:

• Post-secondary education in cognitive science, technical communication, or interaction design
• Several years of experience in interaction design/UX design including prototyping and usability testing
• Good knowledge of WCAG and accessible design
• Experience working with Figma or similar tools

It is a plus if you also have:

• Experience with healthcare-related systems and target groups, such as healthcare staff
• Worked with high accessibility standards in design
• Experience working with or creating design systems
