About the Workplace

Futurum is Håbo's largest primary school with 900 students from preschool to year 9.

The school is divided into two independent units, Futurum F-6 and Futurum 7-9, each with a responsible principal. The school is characterized by relational work and high expectations for both students and staff. Here, accessible learning is in focus. Accessibility regarding the physical, social, and pedagogical environment means that all students should have access to and the opportunity to participate in learning and community throughout the learning environment. Staff at the school constantly reassess and apply their competencies in relation to the conditions and needs of the operations and students. Together with students and guardians, we work to create conditions for accessible learning and a student-adapted environment.

Futurum offers instruction in modern languages such as French, German, and Spanish. In Spanish, instruction is provided in two parallel classes with different teachers. You will have the opportunity for co-planning with a subject colleague in Spanish.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will teach Spanish in grades 6-9. The position is part-time, approximately 50%.
  • You will work from an inclusive perspective with an understanding of the importance of teaching in different ways.
  • You will actively work towards an accessible learning environment on all levels.
  • You will create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
  • You will work with collegial learning and be familiar with current research.
  • Participation in mentorship for a student group may become relevant.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications to teach the Spanish language. You have previous experience teaching at the secondary level.

You have a strong commitment and are confident in your professional role. You are a clear leader in the classroom, able to create a warm classroom climate and can inspire students in their learning. You are genuinely interested in creating, maintaining, and nurturing good relationships with both colleagues and students and guardians. It is a given for you to always have the student's best interests in mind. You have good collaboration skills, strong communication skills, good IT skills, and are well acquainted with pedagogical documentation.

Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

We warmly welcome your application.
