Lindbackens School is growing and our ambitions are high. We are located in Lindbacken just outside Uppsala and have nice and functional facilities in a beautiful natural setting. We have students from preschool class up to and including grade 5. Currently, we have 640 students.

We have a flexible organization and work in teams to find coordination gains and plan collaboration times to promote collegial learning and increase students' chances of success. Our vision is that together we grow, and the goal is for all students to succeed.

Your Mission

Your role includes developing and refining the school's work to make teaching accessible to all students together with knowledgeable and experienced colleagues, actively working with students in need of special support, and conducting assessments and providing guidance as a knowledgeable and attentive advisor in pedagogical matters.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching license and a special education degree. You have several years of experience teaching at the primary school level and experience working with students in need of special support. The job requires good oral and written skills in Swedish, a good understanding of the Swedish National Agency for Education's governing documents and curriculum, as well as knowledge of good learning environments (requirement).

If you have training related to reading and writing difficulties and training related to language disorders, this is considered an advantage. We also appreciate experience in mentoring educators. It is beneficial if you have knowledge of systems such as Prorenata, E-barn, and Unikum.

As a person, you are communicative and have an easy time listening and adapting your communication style. You possess good pedagogical skills and an understanding of people's different abilities to absorb knowledge. This job suits you if you are good at creating, maintaining, and developing professional relationships. Additionally, you find it easy to collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.
