Job Responsibilities

You will be part of a team and collaborate with colleagues, student health, and school management. The position includes mentorship, and you will be responsible for your mentees' development conversations, documentation, and communication with guardians.

Your work will include:

• Teaching and mentorship in grades 6-9.
• Quality work and pedagogical development of your own teaching and subject.
• Collaboration within the team, student health, and school management.
• Mentorship and development conversations.

Currently, there is a close and developed collaboration among the school's teachers who jointly plan and implement the teaching. In other words, we expect that you, as an applicant, want to and see the benefits of working together with other teachers in the relevant subjects. The work also includes collaboration with other teachers in the municipality through recurring network meetings.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher in Swedish and English for grades 6-9. We place great importance on your ability to create relationships and view collaboration with students, guardians, and colleagues as an obvious part of your relational leadership. As a teacher, you are collaborative, clear in your leadership, and always have the students' best interests at heart.

We would also like you to be creative and curious, enjoying trying new things in your teaching, such as leveraging the opportunities of digitalization. Through varied and differentiated teaching, you meet students' differences, needs, and interests. Personal suitability is highly valued. Experience working with elementary school students is an advantage.

• Motivating and engaging students to reach their full potential
• Curiously trying different methods that benefit students' learning and personal development
• Contributing to developing good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians through good communication skills
