Do you want to create educational and enjoyable environments for the students at Tärnsjö School?
With nature as a neighbor and the opportunities of a small school, there are good prospects for giving our little seeds the chance to develop and grow big.
The Role
- You are part of the team where we together create good conditions and relationships to develop each student.
- Together with other staff, you are responsible for developing an educational and enjoyable environment in the after-school program and in the school.
- You drive development forward and, in addition to your role in after-school care, will work together with teachers in the classroom and be an important part of students' social training.
This is us
We are a smaller F-6 school in Heby municipality. At Tärnsjö School, we have about 132 students, and together we create a safe school experience for our students where the path to the goal can look different. Together with us, you will create the best conditions for all students to succeed in their learning, and we do this by creating safety, curiosity, and belief in the future.
We have a student health team that works directly at the school and is very present. The student health team consists of the principal, school nurse, school counselor, speech therapist, and special education teacher.
At our school, you will be part of an engaged organization with a positive work culture.
Is this you?
- You have a teaching license with permission to teach in after-school programs, or you are a leisure educator.
- You have a good knowledge of governing documents and assignments and can make them visible and implement them in practice. You have the digital skills required for documentation and communication in the role and very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- You see opportunities, take your own initiatives, are creative, and come up with ideas, and have the flexibility required in a varied everyday life.
- You are engaged in students' learning and development and have the ability to take advantage of the learning situations that arise spontaneously. You are communicative and easily build relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
We place great importance on your personal suitability, and if you are shortlisted for the position, you will need to provide a criminal record extract before employment.
We offer you more than just a job
With us, you will receive a secure employment with many benefits. We see your development at work as a key to feeling satisfied. As an employer, we believe it is important to listen to our employees; we value your skills and appreciate hearing your thoughts and ideas.
