Unit for Multilingualism

The Unit for Multilingualism is a central unit for mother tongue education and study guidance in the mother tongue from a 6-19 year perspective in preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. The unit's mission includes coordinating and organizing activities in both municipal and independent schools.

Our administrative offices are located at Fyrisborgsgatan 1, and the educational activities take place in the municipality's schools.

Your Mission

Your tasks include teaching primary school students in the subject of mother tongue according to applicable governing documents. Providing study guidance in the mother tongue may be included in the position. Teaching takes place in the municipality's schools.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree or another academic qualification that the employer deems equivalent. The work requires that you have Tagalog as your native language and very good knowledge of Swedish. You also need to have good computer skills.

As a person, you are pedagogical and have an understanding of people's different conditions for absorbing knowledge. You are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work. The job suits you if you are a communicative person who finds it easy to listen and adapt your way of communicating.
