Unit for Multilingualism

The Unit for Multilingualism is a central unit for native language teaching and study guidance in the native language from a 6-19 year perspective in preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. The unit's mission includes coordinating and organizing activities in both municipal and independent schools.

Our administrative offices are located at Fyrisborgsgatan 1, and the educational activities take place in the municipality's schools.

Your Assignment

Your tasks include teaching primary school students in the subject of native language according to applicable governing documents. Providing study guidance in the native language may be part of the position. Teaching takes place in the municipality's schools.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree or other academic education that the employer deems equivalent. The work requires you to have Estonian as your native language and very good knowledge of Swedish. You also need to have good computer skills.

As a person, you are communicative and have an easy time listening and adapting your way of communicating. You are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work. The job suits you if you have a good pedagogical ability and an understanding of people's different conditions for absorbing knowledge.
