About the Workplace

Futurum is Håbo's largest primary school with 900 students from preschool to year 9.

The school is characterized by relational work and high expectations for both students and staff. Our focus is on accessible learning. Accessibility in terms of the physical, social, and pedagogical environment means that all students should have access to and the opportunity to participate in learning and community throughout the learning environment. Staff at the school constantly reassess and apply their competencies in relation to the conditions and needs of the operations and students. Together with students and guardians, we work to create conditions for accessible learning and a student-adapted environment.

Your Responsibilities

Teaching in visual arts and English. You will plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching and be part of a team for grades 7-9. Mentorship is included.

Qualifications

You are a licensed and qualified teacher in visual arts and English. You have a strong commitment to teaching and work for the development of the entire school and all students. You create a safe learning environment and have high expectations for students and their ability to develop. You focus on the best interests of the student, can see the different needs of students, apply a relational approach, and thus create the best conditions for each individual student.

You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively. You have good collaboration skills, good communication skills, good IT knowledge, and are well acquainted with pedagogical documentation. You build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

Personal suitability is highly valued as we appreciate a solution-oriented approach and good collaboration skills.
