Senior Maintenance Technician at Coherent in Järfälla

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring optimal operation of our production facility. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment, as well as implementing improvements and preventive maintenance programs. You will work closely with the production team and other relevant departments to ensure an efficient and safe production process.

Responsibilities

Your main areas of responsibility include:

• Performing regular preventive maintenance, including cleaning, refurbishing, parts replacement, and predefined checks of wafer fabrication equipment.
• Conducting scheduled daily inspections and checks of equipment according to checklists and instructions to identify and address any issues in a timely manner.
• Assisting the shift supervisor maintenance engineer during more complex maintenance actions and troubleshooting.
• Documenting all performed maintenance actions, observations, and results of checks in our Equipment Log system to ensure traceability and continuous improvement.
• Handling process chemicals safely and effectively, including refilling and waste management.
• Managing maintenance and inventory of spare parts, counting spare parts, and initiating orders as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has/is:

• A relevant technical education at the university or high school level, with a focus on engineering, electronics, or similar.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience as a maintenance technician.
• Documented experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex machines and systems.
• Good knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience working in cleanroom/controlled environments is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• High IT maturity with good knowledge of the Office suite and other relevant systems for the role.
