Material Planner Wanted

About the Position

We are currently looking for a material planner who has an interest in logistics and planning, but is also comfortable working in a workshop environment. As a material planner, you will be responsible for operational production planning of production resources for new manufacturing and service.

You will be part of a team in a department of 6-8 people who also work with material planning of production resources. The work is scheduled during daytime hours and is located in Finspång.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Poolia, with a desired start in early April and lasting for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Be responsible for planning production based on a balance between different situations.
• Ensure deadlines are met to satisfy our customers' requests within set timeframes.
• Maintain good communication with various parties, e.g., inventory, purchasing, and stakeholders.
• Manage needs at the planning and production order level, as well as follow up on ongoing orders.
• Conduct scenario analyses.

Who Are You?

• You have a few years of work experience in the manufacturing industry. Education and/or experience in logistics is an advantage.
• You are a driven person who can work independently.
• You are responsible and take ownership of your tasks.
• You are communicative and easily establish contacts.
• You show a strong interest and want to influence the operations.
• You are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
• Experience with SAP or other equivalent production planning systems is a plus.
