At Mabema, we work with the latest vision technology and utilize world-leading software in machine vision, including both traditional image processing tools and Deep Learning/AI.

As an Application Engineer, you will work in a closely-knit team that carries out robot guidance projects and performs advanced, automated quality inspections for our clients. Our solutions often involve custom adaptations for the customer.

Your tasks will span the entire process, from evaluating customer needs, testing and prototyping, to implementation and commissioning. You will work with various camera technologies to ensure that we have the image quality required for the project, configuring and programming the equipment involved, as well as installation and commissioning on-site in the customer's production line. Throughout the process, you will be responsible for maintaining good and clear communication with the customer.

The job involves travel primarily within Sweden and to our neighboring countries.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Automation technical education or similar experience

• A valid driver's license (B category)

• Fluent skills in Swedish and English

• Knowledge of programming

• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges

It is a plus if you have:

• Practical and theoretical experience with various types of automation equipment

• Experience in robot programming

• Experience with image processing software such as Halcon or Vision Pro

• Experience in PLC programming
