Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work in a dynamic and diverse department with about 30 materials and chemistry engineers, located in a dedicated laboratory building. Your focus will be on metallographic examinations of components manufactured using additive manufacturing (LPBF), and you will work closely with two junior/mid-senior materials engineers. Your main responsibilities include:

- Independently conducting metallographic examinations of components manufactured through additive manufacturing (LPBF).

- Managing and analyzing samples using both light optical microscopes and scanning electron microscopes, as well as utilizing advanced software for evaluation.

- Writing technical reports based on your examinations and ensuring that the results meet the quality requirements set for the components.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with an academic background in materials science, preferably with a focus on metallic materials. Previous work experience is not a requirement, but experience from working in a metallographic lab is an advantage.

As a person, you are meticulous, analytical, and have a good command of both spoken and written communication in Swedish and English.

The work is primarily conducted on-site in our laboratory building, but some remote work may be approved.
