The Clinical Pharmacy Unit currently has 17 employees, all clinical pharmacists located in Lund, Malmö, Ystad, Trelleborg, and Landskrona. We are seeing an increased interest in our expertise and are in a very exciting phase of development and change!

We primarily work with inpatient medication reviews and other medication-related interventions together with the doctors in our inpatient departments. Moving forward, we will develop clinical pharmacy so that our expertise continues to contribute as much as possible to increased quality and safety in patients' medication treatment.

The Clinical Pharmacy Unit is part of the Pharmaceutical Area at Skåne University Hospital. In addition to our unit, the area also consists of two hospital pharmacy units. We have a close collaboration with the department pharmacists employed at the hospital pharmacy units and the case managers, quality pharmacists, and chief pharmacists employed in the area.

The position is a permanent employment. You will be based at Skåne University Hospital in Lund.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a clinical pharmacist who wants to work in a knowledge-intensive team with us at the Clinical Pharmacy Unit. The work with medication reconciliations and medication reviews is carried out independently but in close collaboration with the doctors. At the hospital in Lund, you will work in a department where clinical pharmacy has been established for a long time.

It may also be relevant to conduct training for other healthcare professionals. Other quality and development work may also occur. You will independently drive, implement, and plan your daily work while always having your team of knowledgeable colleagues to support and contribute to learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily addressing you who have experience in clinical pharmacy. You are a licensed pharmacist or pharmacy technician authorized to work in Swedish healthcare. You also have a master's degree in clinical pharmacy or relevant experience in clinical pharmacy work and practical experience conducting interdisciplinary medication reviews in healthcare. Additionally, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required, as well as good computer skills. Good knowledge of English is desirable. Other competencies, such as experience in training students and staff groups, are meritorious.

Working with us requires that you are meticulous, responsible, and goal- and result-oriented, as a large part of the work is carried out independently. You are a driven person who likes to take your own initiatives and has the ability to make decisions with good judgment. Additionally, it is natural for you to work in a responsive and pedagogical manner as an expert in a team. You are also a good communicator with strong collaboration skills.

As we are currently in a phase of change, curiosity and a flexible approach to work are required. You actively contribute and engage in the unit's improvement and development work.
