About the position

At the Acute Assessment Unit (ABE), we work together - doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. No day is the same as the patient count varies from day to day. We work with patients who have acute problems from their ongoing oncological treatment and/or tumor disease - surgical and oncological. Patients are admitted to the hospital or may return home after assessment. We collaborate with the Intensive Care Unit and are located in the same premises.

The position is a temporary position over the summer or a part-time employment. Working hours are scheduled Monday-Sunday from 8 AM to 9 PM.

We are looking for someone who

• listens, communicates, and resolves conflicts constructively
• plans, organizes, and prioritizes work effectively
• wants a fun workplace and has an interest in cancer and acute oncology.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

• Experience in oncology, surgery, or emergency care

The Cancer Theme is one of the largest areas within the hospital. We investigate, treat, and care for patients with some form of malignant tumor disease as well as benign hematology and coagulation disorders.
