About the Role and Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to teach English and Physical Education at the Science Program.

You will conduct teaching based on current governing documents and participate in the pedagogical development at the school. Furthermore, you will also be a mentor and collaborate with the student health team and other teachers to ensure our students achieve their high school diploma. We consider the whole situation of the student and focus on how they develop in their learning and social context.

We are looking for you...

...who is a certified teacher in English and Physical Education at the high school level. We would prefer if you have previous experience working as a teacher in a high school.

You have a positive view of students based on the belief that all students can and want to learn, and you have the ability to create enthusiasm in various learning situations. It is important that you have an inclusive perspective and are well acquainted with the governing documents of high school. We would also like you to have good knowledge of working with adaptations in the classroom and during examinations.

Other important qualities for the position are that you are self-driven, relationship-building, and flexible, as well as having good pedagogical insight. You also have proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
