About the Job as a Survey Engineer:

As a survey engineer with us at Jefferson Wells working with our client Vattenfall in Stockholm, you will be involved in field measurements and setting out using GPS and total stations. You will process data and produce maps using GIS software, as well as plan the measurement activities in the area. In your role, you will also have client contact and collaborate with project managers and clients. You will work across a large geographical area.

Common Tasks:

• Setting out and measuring with GPS and total stations in the field.
• Data processing and map production using GIS software.
• Planning measurement activities in the area.
• Client contact and collaboration with project managers and clients.

Who We Are Looking For:

At Jefferson Wells, we are looking for someone who is meticulous, responsible, and flexible. You have the ability to work independently and in a team, as well as good communication skills. You have a relevant education in surveying technology, geodesy, geography, or similar, or several years of experience in the field.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who:

• Has practical experience in field measurements and setting out.
• Has experience using advanced measuring instruments such as GPS and total stations.
• Has knowledge of Microsoft 365 and CAD.
• Holds a valid driver's license (B).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cable locating
• Knowledge of software related to measurements/setting out
