Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work as a consultant for a client in the automotive industry. You will act as the technical contact and coordinator for the optical design of advanced camera systems used in vehicles. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

Representing the optical design team in discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
Leading and coordinating technical investigations regarding optical design, ensuring that design solutions comply with requirements from clients and suppliers.
Providing expert advice on optical solutions and camera systems.
Handling technical questions and performing design reviews in connection with requests for quotations (RFQ).
Updating and maintaining technical specifications and other project documentation.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Master's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, or equivalent.
At least 10 years of experience in system development within optics or camera systems (or 8 years with a PhD).
Documented experience working with OEM companies and suppliers in the automotive industry.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for advanced technical investigations.
Strong communication skills and experience leading complex technical discussions.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

Experience in project management or coordination in larger technical projects.
Knowledge of hardware-near programming and integrated systems.
Experience with optical design software or simulation tools.
Previous experience working in a consulting role.

Location: Bromma, on-site.
