In the System division, we work at a high level to design the electricity market, develop, and operate the electricity system. We are part of finding answers to the climate transition and creating prosperity for the entire society. We are a key player for the Swedish society to develop and create conditions for it to function. We solve both today's and tomorrow's challenges. We ensure that Sweden has a bright future.
About the position
In the role of Power System Analyst within system stability, you will drive strategic work within the business area and conduct power system analyses regarding system stability in all operating conditions. Your tasks will include:
- working both in groups and independently with power system analyses
- leading and working on implementation projects of new system measures related to power system stability in the areas of frequency, voltage, and rotor angle stability
- participating in analyses, developing technical requirements and sizing within Sweden and the Nordic countries related to power system stability parameters based on the needs of the power system and relevant legislation
- being a bridge between the long-term strategic and the operational within system responsibility
- having contact with external stakeholders, primarily in technical matters regarding technical requirements
You will belong to one of our teams, the Frequency and Balancing team or the Voltage and Rotor Angle team. Depending on your skills and interests, you will have good opportunities to influence your own development and the direction of the role.

You will contribute to the unit's business development in matters concerning how we will continue to maintain a stable power system.
You will belong to the System Measures unit, which is responsible for setting requirements for connecting parties related to power system stability as well as requirements, sizing, and implementation of system measures such as support services and remedial actions in all operating conditions. The unit is in a growth phase as its responsibilities and assignments have expanded and currently consists of 11 employees. We work both within our teams and together, exchanging experiences with each other.
About you
Since the role involves many contact points both internally and externally, we are looking for someone who works well with others. You adapt and find solutions through an unpretentious focus on the common goal. You have the ability to see opportunities and are inspired to achieve set goals together with your team. In the role, you will conduct power system analyses regarding system stability in all operating conditions, so it is important that you are analytical and can reason logically and see connections in complex information. As the unit's responsibilities and assignments grow, we are looking for someone who is calm and stable.
We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Additionally, you have:
- current experience working with power system analyses and/or control engineering systems or in a similar field
- experience coordinating and leading projects or work
- good understanding of power systems
- ease in expressing yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.
It is an advantage if you have:
