Contract Manager for JAS 39 Gripen

About the position

As a contract manager at FMV (Swedish Defence Materiel Administration), you will be responsible for and lead our work with product support and maintenance contracts for the JAS 39 Gripen. This contract is a fundamental prerequisite for FMV and the Swedish Armed Forces' work with operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the Gripen system.

Your tasks include procurement and management of contracts with suppliers as well as leading the team within FMV that works with the execution and delivery of the contract. You will collaborate with the leadership of the Armed Forces for sustainment and CAMO organization as well as with the delivering industry.

The position is located in Stockholm. Travel, primarily domestic, will occur.

About you

You are either a civil or engineering graduate or have other competencies acquired in another way, for example, as a technical officer with experience working with flying systems.

You need to have knowledge of flying systems and their subsystems, civil or military. Knowledge of the Gripen system and the Armed Forces' organization and operations is advantageous. Experience in contract work, either management or procurement, is a prerequisite for success in the role. Previous experience in similar contract activities is also advantageous.

You need to have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.
