Do you have a strong interest in high technology, experience in image processing, and want to be part of a dynamic and innovative company that strives to be at the forefront of technological development and product innovation? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for!

ABOUT THE POSITION:

On behalf of our partner Mycronic, we are looking for a System Developer who will join the System Design and Verification team, consisting of 16 people in various roles - where the keyword is high competence. In this role, you will develop an internal system tool and work with image processing and calibration of their machines. The work takes place in an innovative environment where software development and hardware collaborate. You will work with Python, OpenCV, and NumPy and have the opportunity to test and improve your solutions directly on industrial machines.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop an internal system tool for Mycronic
  • Define requirements, develop prototypes, and implement image processing algorithms for system image calibration
  • Use OpenCV, NumPy, and other relevant tools for real-time and batch-based image processing
  • Implement common image processing techniques such as filtering, transformations, edge detection, and feature extraction
  • Integrate image processing pipelines into existing software architecture
  • Test and fine-tune solutions directly on the industrial machines that produce the images
  • Collaborate closely with Systems Engineers and other developers to ensure practical and efficient implementations
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Have a Master's degree in Engineering Physics or equivalent education
  • Have worked for at least 2-3 years with similar tasks
  • Have strong skills in Python, Java, Matlab, and Linux
  • Have an understanding of and experience with image processing workflows and optimization techniques
  • Have the ability to work hands-on with industrial equipment for testing and fine-tuning
  • Have experience working with customized software systems
  • Speak and write English fluently, and understand Swedish, as both languages are used in daily work

Experience with OpenCV, NumPy, C, and C++ is a plus.

To fit into the role, we see that you are independent and proactive – you take ownership and drive the work forward. You also possess strong problem-solving skills, are communicative, and are a team player who enjoys collaborating across different functions. Above all, we see that you have a genuine interest in technology and enjoy discussing with colleagues who all have extensive system and machine knowledge.
