Lindbergs School is a rural school located north of Varberg, about a 15-minute drive from the center. Here, students are given opportunities in a peaceful environment characterized by safety and teaching that strives to be motivated for learning. Lindbergs School F-9 has about 400 students, and at the after-school center, 150 students start and end their school day.

The after-school center has begun a process this spring to create natural meetings across grade boundaries, where students in grades F-2 have the opportunity to support each other in various learning activities. With us, you will be part of developing the after-school center into a place where we want all students to have the opportunity to grow in their learning, based on interests and abilities, but also to feel the impact of good social relationships.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work as a teacher in the after-school program with planning, teaching, and during the school day, part of your pedagogical assignment will involve planning and conducting various types of break activities. The assignment will also include team leader and teacher leader responsibilities.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest driving force. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is in focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher in the after-school program with us in Varberg municipality, you play a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you provide students with the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. You work to strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through play, creation, and movement.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan and follow up on the after-school program based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, tailored to the students' needs and conditions. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with qualifications for teaching in the after-school program. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see the opportunities to support students' development throughout the school day and create a red thread between school and after-school program.

As an after-school teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific principles with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we have a responsibility to create a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
