Hagaskolan is a multilingual F-9 school with an after-school program in central Varberg. The school has about 430 students. Our vision is that each student is met according to their individual needs and conditions, that the teaching is comprehensible, that students feel safe, are involved in their own learning, and can influence their schooling.

We dream of a school that every student looks forward to attending and where we are the obvious choice for all students in our catchment area, also attracting students from outside this area. We work in grade teams and focus on relational leadership.

Our development work is based on the school's development plan and currently focuses on making teaching comprehensible and manageable for all students. This means that our teaching is differentiated, based on a language and knowledge-developing approach, and that we continuously evaluate and analyze our teaching to see what effect it has on student learning.

We have a close collaboration between home and school, between different subjects, and across grades.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone to substitute for one of our teachers on parental leave. You are a creative, relational certified teacher qualified to teach Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and English for grades 7-9.

You will be part of grade team 8, where you will also be a mentor for a group of students. You are prepared to work closely with the students and constantly develop your teaching to reach all students. Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us at Varberg Municipality, you play a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you provide students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions, and resting on scientific and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage student learning, participation, and influence. QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher qualified to teach in grades 7-9 in Swedish, Swedish as a second language, and English.

You are interested in development, have knowledge and experience of NPF issues. Your planning is based on a language and knowledge-developing approach, is differentiated, and comprehensible for the students.

As a teacher, you are relational, engaged, and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching rests on proven experience and scientific basis with an exploratory approach. You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the organization by planning and following up on teaching together.

You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on the students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable working environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
