Hagaskolan is a multilingual F-9 school with an after-school program in central Varberg. The school has about 430 students. Our vision is that each student is met based on their individual needs and conditions, that the teaching is comprehensible, that students feel safe, are involved in their own learning, and can influence their schooling. We dream of a school that every student longs to attend and where we are the obvious choice for all students in our catchment area and also attract students from outside it. We work in grade teams and focus on relational leadership.

Our development work is based on the school's development plan and currently focuses on making teaching comprehensible and manageable for all students. This means that our teaching is differentiated, based on a language and knowledge-developing approach, and that we continuously evaluate and analyze our teaching to see what effect it has on students' learning. We have close cooperation between home and school, between different subjects, and across grade levels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a creative, relational licensed teacher in textile crafts for grades 3-9. You will be part of the grade 9 team where you will also be a mentor for a group of students. You are prepared to work closely with students and constantly develop your teaching to reach all students.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us in Varberg Municipality, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, tailored to the students' needs and conditions, and grounded in science and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach textile crafts in grades 3-9. You are interested in development, have knowledge and experience of NPF issues. Your planning is based on a language and knowledge-developing approach, is differentiated, and comprehensible for students.

As a teacher, you are relational, engaged, and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
