Påskberg School is a K-9 school with an associated after-school program located in central Varberg and has approximately 570 students.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our after-school program consists of three departments where you will be involved in work related to your own department as well as the entire after-school program. During the school day, staff from the various after-school programs have significant responsibility for recess activities and supporting groups or individual students in class. The position may involve being a crucial part of providing individual students with the support they need during school hours as well.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher in the after-school program with us in Varberg municipality, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you provide students with the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. You work to strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through play, creation, and movement.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on the after-school program based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license qualified to teach in the after-school program. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see the opportunities to support students' development throughout the school day and create a coherent thread between school and after-school.

Knowledge, experience, and willingness to work with a student with type 1 diabetes are needed both during school hours and after-school.

Knowledge, experience, and willingness to work with students with difficulties within NPF both during school hours and after-school.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

As an after-school teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operation by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
