Väröbackaskolan is a growing F-9 school with approximately 420 students. The school is located next to rolling fields in the community of Väröbacka between Kungsbacka and Varberg. It is important for us to work for community and well-being, where we together strengthen students' learning and inspire them to achieve their dreams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher in after-school care with us in Varberg Municipality, you play a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both socially and academically. You work to strengthen their creativity, curiosity, and self-esteem through play, creation, and movement.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on the after-school care activities based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

Competence development based on the needs of the operations is a given for us, as is an organization for planning and evaluating teaching. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license with qualifications for teaching in after-school care. With a holistic view of learning and teaching, you see the opportunities to support students' development throughout the school day and create a red thread between school and after-school care.

As a teacher in after-school care, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt the teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
