Väröbackaskolan is a growing F-9 school with 400 students. The school is located next to rolling fields in the community of Väröbacka between Kungsbacka and Varberg. It is important for us to work for community and well-being, where we together strengthen students' learning and inspire them to achieve their dreams. The position also includes Buaskolan grade 6.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaching Swedish and English 100% in grades 7 and 8. The position includes mentorship in grade 8, and you will be part of the 7-9 work team.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us in Varberg municipality, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, implementing, and following up your varied teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions, and grounded in science and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed primary school teacher 7-9 with qualifications in Swedish and English.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific foundations with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable working environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
