Your responsibilities

As an Enterprise Architect – Applications and Integrations, you will be responsible for:

Strategy and Governance

• Aligning integration strategies and frameworks with business goals in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams.
• Improving the integration platform’s strategy and capabilities with a focus on reliability, scalability, self-service, reusability, and community engagement.
• Using Application Portfolio Management (APM) to optimize the integration strategy and ensure effective resource utilization.

Technology and Solution Evaluation

• Evaluating and recommending integration technologies and tools to enhance business processes.
• Conducting regular assessments of integration solutions to ensure compliance with standards and policies and suggesting improvements.

Design and Implementation

• Designing and overseeing the implementation of new integration solutions for applications.
• Acting as Integration Architect in the global program to enhance the group's eBusiness capabilities, including customer EDI and e-invoicing.

Support and Guidance

• Providing guidance and support to IT teams to enable successful implementation and adoption of integration solutions.
• Ensuring best practices in APM and integration management.

By collaborating with stakeholders and IT teams, you will drive a scalable and reliable integration platform while leveraging Application Portfolio Management (APM) to ensure effective resource utilization. You will evaluate applications, recommend improvements, and oversee the implementation of integration solutions, focusing on compliance with standards and best practices.

Atlas Copco is a decentralized group of companies, organized into 4 business areas and a central Group. Each business area also has its own IT organization, and the EA function is present there. For this role, you will collaborate with each of them.

In this role, you will be part of Atlas Copco's Group IT based in Stockholm/Sickla. You will belong to a global team of five people focused on digital workplace, cloud services, infrastructure, connectivity, data and analytics, AI, and Application Portfolio Management. You will report to the Enterprise Architecture Manager based in Belgium.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (master's degree is an advantage).
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Documented experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role focusing on application integration and/or application portfolio management.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks, patterns, and tools for integration architecture, including synchronous/asynchronous communication and event-driven architecture (EDA).
• Experience with integration platforms such as IBM Broker, Azure API, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Apache Camel, Apache Kafka, and SAP BTP IS, with a particular focus on SAP integrations.
• Proficiency in tools and methods for Application Portfolio Management.
• Certification in Enterprise Architecture or integration technologies is an advantage.
• Fluent English is a requirement, and knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
