About the assignment Our client is a forward-looking company in the manufacturing industry that is currently in an exciting growth phase. You will be part of a dynamic development team and be responsible for designing, developing, and driving backend services built on microservices architecture. You will work closely with domain experts and other technical teams to develop cutting-edge solutions while contributing to ensuring robust DevSecOps processes and infrastructure governance.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend services for business-critical functions in a microservices environment.
• Ensure that systems are fast, reliable, and scalable.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and develop and implement tools to support workflows.
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve systems and processes through innovation and shared learning.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support and develop DevSecOps principles and practices for effective system management.

Skills and experience:

• Academic degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in backend development in Java or Kotlin.
• Practical experience with microservices architecture and modern backend development methodologies.
• Experience with DevSecOps principles, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and event-driven architecture is a plus.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and work effectively in agile environments.
• Good communication skills and experience managing stakeholder relationships.

Additional information:

• Location: Stockholm (hybrid work possible after initial period)
• Work model: 100% on-site at start, with the possibility of up to 50% remote work after a period
• Scope: Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 12 months, with the possibility of extension
