Research Administrator

The research group CHAP - Child Health and Parenting, is an interdisciplinary and international group with a primary focus on evaluating societal efforts for the mental health of children and parents. Our research is conducted in projects and often in collaboration with municipalities, county councils, non-profit organizations, and authorities.
Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for a temporary replacement for a research administrator who can assist with managing the research group's databases, personal data notifications, drafting agreements, including data processing agreements with our partners, assisting with ethical applications and data collection platforms in connection with our various research projects. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring that we have good routines regarding GDPR and data security, that there are data management plans for all research projects, and act as a coordinator for students who seek to join the group for, for example, thesis work or exchange studies.
Qualifications
A master's degree in public health or a corresponding relevant subject is required. You should have good experience in research administration and data collection, as well as experience in handling databases with varying levels of data security. You should have solid knowledge of research design, including randomized controlled trials, observational studies, qualitative interview studies, and registry studies. Basic knowledge in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and handling of statistical software is required. Good social skills are necessary, as well as proficiency in Swedish and English with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
Desirable/meritorious
Courses that strengthen knowledge in the aforementioned areas are meritorious.
About the Position
The position is a temporary contract for 10 months. The extent is 100%. Start date is April 14, 2025, or by agreement. Location: Uppsala
