Job Responsibilities

We are looking for postdoctoral researchers with a strong background and interest in networked control systems, mathematics, modeling, reinforcement learning, and machine learning.

The selected candidates will work on projects aimed at developing new mathematical computational tools for a fundamental understanding and design of networked control systems. The work includes learning complex decision-making dynamics from big data as well as modeling networked cyber-physical-human control systems.

The Department of Control Engineering conducts leading research in connected control systems, network control, and system identification. We carry out industrial projects in collaboration with companies such as ABB, Ericsson, and Scania. A significant part of the research is also conducted within EU projects in collaboration with European industry and academia. We have an extensive academic network and collaborate with researchers at institutions such as Caltech, MIT, UC Berkeley, and Stanford.

We Offer

  • An employment at a leading technical university that creates knowledge and competence for a sustainable future
  • Engaged and ambitious colleagues as well as a creative, international, and dynamic environment
