Welcome to an exciting manufacturing company in Upplands Väsby, where most of the manufacturing takes place in-house and a large part of the business is conducted through exports.

We are now looking for a driven Production Engineer to strengthen the existing Production Technology and Maintenance team!

About the Position

Revent International AB is a company that develops, manufactures, and sells equipment for bakeries worldwide. In 1958, Revent invented the stick oven, and has since been a market leader and renowned in the industry for its innovation. We also develop proofing cabinets and vacuum coolers.

Revent's headquarters is located in Upplands-Väsby and has about 100 employees. Here you will find the entire staff function including marketing, development, design, service, purchasing, and also the main factory. In addition, there are subsidiaries in the USA, Czech Republic, and Mexico. Sales are mainly handled through local distributors in each country. Today, we have distributors in about 50 countries around the world. In 2014, Revent launched its next major innovation, the round baking oven, which will be Revent's future.

Job Responsibilities

As a production engineer, you will be part of the production technology and maintenance team, where you work closely with operators, technicians, and production management to develop and optimize production. Your role is broad and important, as you serve as a link between product development, design, purchasing, and production.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Continuously working on production technical improvements to increase safety, quality, and efficiency in production.

• Supporting employees in handling deviations and providing support to the quality department for production-related complaints.

• Reviewing, developing, and documenting work methods and manufacturing processes, as well as creating detailed work instructions when needed.

• Collaborating with the design department on product development, choice of manufacturing method, and updating drawing documentation.

• Being heavily involved in organizing preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of machines and equipment.

• Ensuring that guidelines, rules, and procedures are followed and further developed in collaboration with your immediate supervisor.

The role also includes leading and driving continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and productivity in production.

We Are Looking For You Who

We are looking for an engaged and curious person who wants to develop in production technology. You have a strong desire to learn and see this as an opportunity to grow in a role where your contributions are truly appreciated.

We believe that you have a few years of experience in workshop work and a post-secondary education with a focus on production technology.

It is important that you have fluent skills in both Swedish and English, in both spoken and written forms.

Knowledge in electrical or automation is an advantage for the position.
