About the role: As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for accounting and reporting for one of the client's sales companies. The role is based in Gothenburg and involves close collaboration with both local and international colleagues as well as external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounting and reporting within the sales company
• Manage ongoing bookkeeping, monthly closings, and annual reports
• Ensure accurate VAT reporting and handle differences between IFRS and local GAAP
• Collaborate with the client's Global Accounting Centre, auditors, and tax advisors
• Actively participate in improvement and standardization initiatives
• Contribute to projects related to digitalization and automation

We are looking for someone who has:

• Solid experience in accounting within large international manufacturing companies
• Good knowledge of SAP and Hyperion FM
• Experience with closings, reporting, and accounting according to IFRS
• Interest in data analysis and digitalization
• Post-secondary education in finance
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Strong analytical skills, high integrity, and a positive, flexible attitude
