About the role

As an ILS engineer with us, you will play a central role in ensuring that our weapon systems are operational and maintainable. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating ground tests, ensuring that the right materials, tools, and documentation are available for testing and evaluations. In collaboration with test pilots, engineering teams, and customers, you will ensure that prototypes and advanced testing equipment function as they should before further procurement.

Furthermore, you will work on defining requirements and developing maintenance equipment and instructions for our systems. Through careful analysis and optimizations, you will ensure that maintenance needs meet both our internal requirements and customer expectations, while also contributing to minimizing downtime and increasing system availability. The role also includes evaluating maintenance methods, improving instructions and tools, and handling investigations based on customer feedback.

We are looking for someone with a technical education in areas such as mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or similar fields. Experience in maintenance analysis and system integration is a plus. You are analytical, structured, and thrive in a collaborative environment where you can take responsibility and drive projects forward.

We are looking for someone with:

  • 2-3 years of experience as an ILS engineer
  • Higher vocational education, university degree, or master's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or a related field
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

For this position, you are required to undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations, which may impose certain citizenship requirements.

Preferred qualifications for the position:

  • A strong interest in aviation
  • Knowledge in strength of materials
