About the Company

Do you want to share your knowledge and shape the future process operators?

Movant is now looking for an engaged and pedagogical teacher for our vocational training for process operators in Gothenburg. Do you have experience from industrial production, technical processes, or similar industries and want to help educate future professionals? Then this could be the role for you!

About the Training

The training for process operators is aimed at individuals who want to work in the chemical industry, paper/pulp industry, energy companies, food production, or other manufacturing industries. Students receive both theoretical and practical knowledge to become attractive in the job market.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and follow up on teaching within the process industry and related subject areas.
• Teach in areas such as:
• Industrial manufacturing processes
• Blueprint reading and process analysis
• Safety, risk assessments, and working environment
• Handling tools, machines, and computer-controlled systems
• Guide students during their workplace-based learning (APL).
• Support students in their individual development towards working life.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience from the process industry, technical production, or a related field.
• Preferably has pedagogical experience or education, but this is not a requirement.
• Is a clear and motivating leader in the classroom.
• Has a strong interest in teaching and adapting instruction to meet students' needs.
• Enjoys working closely with both students and workplaces in the industry.

It is an advantage if you have pedagogical education or previous experience teaching or mentoring in industry or education. Additionally, knowledge in welding technology, industrial IT, or process technology is a big plus. Even if you are not a qualified teacher today, it is not a barrier – we offer the opportunity to combine work with studies to become a qualified teacher.
