Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with our male client in his early 70s living in Falköping
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has experience with the diagnosis of stroke

It is also meritorious if you:

• have experience in similar work
• have a B driver's license
• share the client's interest in walking

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary job during weeks 23 - 32. You need to be able to start the introduction in April and work a few shifts per week before the summer schedule starts to get to know your client. Work during the day with the earliest start at 07 and the latest end at 22, the shifts include a lunch break. During weeks 23 - 27 and 31-32, each substitute's employment rate will be about 50%, and during weeks 28 - 30, each substitute's employment rate will be about 85-90%

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Week 23, but we would like you to start with the introduction immediately and work a few shifts until week 23.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a potential employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
