Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 16-year-old boy living in Umeå
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has a driver's license and access to a car
• is smoke-free

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience as a personal assistant or similar work
• share the client's interests

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The position is a summer temporary position and is 100% between weeks 27-32. The job involves daytime work, and shifts are primarily Monday to Friday. There are few exceptions in the schedule where you will work evenings or weekends.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

According to agreement, but we see that you can undergo the introduction before the temporary position starts, and there is an opportunity to work as a substitute before the temporary position.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
