Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. We prefer female applicants for the position, but the greatest emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• wants to work with a 33-year-old woman living in Skellefteå
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has a driver's license and access to a car
• is non-smoker

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience in personal assistance or equivalent work
• experience with aids such as a breathing mask
• share the customer's interests

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

Position 1: We are looking for a personal assistant for a 100% position with the employment form being "As long as the assistance assignment lasts". The position involves work during daytime and evening hours. Work shifts are scheduled both on weekdays and weekends.

Position 2: We are looking for a personal assistant for a temporary position at 60% with one month from start and the possibility of extension. The position involves working only nights (active time). Work shifts are scheduled both on weekdays and weekends.

Hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Start date

Immediately for both positions.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
