ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is looking for an Accounting Assistant who wants to be part of our client's finance team. The company is an international firm with an office located in central Gothenburg. Currently, there are 85 employees at the office, where good relationships and collaboration are the focus.

In the role of Accounting Assistant, you will work in a group of several accounting assistants where you will collaborate and rotate tasks among each other. You will belong to their accounts receivable and payable group, where the focus, as the name suggests, is on customer and supplier accounts. You will receive good support from senior colleagues to quickly and smoothly get into the position. The team is characterized by strong cohesion, and you will have excellent opportunities to learn from your colleagues.

The assignment is a full-time temporary position lasting 6 months, requiring you to start immediately.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

In the role of Accounting Assistant, you will work in a team of four accounting assistants where you will rotate tasks. You will, for example:

• Receive, register, and pay supplier invoices, with a strong emphasis on currency management and calculations
• Book customer payments
• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Reconciliations and investigations
• Assist with monthly closing

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a recognized post-secondary education in finance
• Has documented experience in accounts receivable and payable
• Speaks and writes Swedish and English fluently
• Has previously worked in the business systems Navision and Business Central
