Avesta Hospital is a small county hospital with a 24/7 emergency department and 3 wards with a total of 42 beds providing local healthcare for residents in southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland. The Emergency Department, Medicine, Geriatrics, and Rehabilitation form a combined clinic, which provides fantastic conditions for quick and efficient handling throughout the care chain.

The specialized outpatient care constitutes a large part of the operations, with reception and investigation activities in cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, gastroenterology, sleep medicine, and dementia investigations, as well as other general internal medicine and geriatric investigations and treatments. Our clinic has a total of 200 employees across various professional categories. We place great importance on the educational climate, and our motto is to be "Sweden's best junior doctor school," which has contributed to our consistently high ranking in the medical placements in the AT ranking.

We are now looking for ST doctors and future specialists for our clinic.

Job Responsibilities

As a specialist in internal medicine, you will work within the clinic's broad operations. Together with other doctors, you will work in both inpatient and outpatient specialist care. You will be a supervisor for AT doctors and thereby contribute to the good educational climate.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Swedish Medical License
• Swedish language skills equivalent to at least C1 level

Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities, suitability, and responsibility.
