Care Assistants for Dementia Care

We are expanding our team with two experienced and caring care assistants. As a care assistant in dementia care, you will play a central role in improving the quality of life for our clients.

Your Responsibilities

As a care assistant, you provide care and social support based on the client's needs. Your work is characterized by responsibility, collaboration, and the pursuit of providing the best possible care. As a care assistant with us, you advocate for our clients' autonomy, integrity, and participation, ensuring that each individual experiences well-being.

You can expect varied tasks; assisting with meals, dressing and undressing, mobility, personal hygiene, companionship, walks, and ensuring safety while breaking isolation. Service tasks such as laundry and bed-making are included. Shopping and cleaning may also be part of the role. Documentation is also an important part of daily work.

The position is full-time and daytime, Monday to Friday, with one weekend every six weeks.

About the Workplace

The home care service helps many different people to manage their daily lives at home. It is a varied and exciting job with many different encounters with clients and relatives. The goal of home care is to enable individuals to remain in their homes.

The tasks are carried out together with other colleagues in home care and begin and end in the home care group room at Tibble.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant with a degree from the health and social care program or equivalent relevant education; it is an advantage if you have any dementia training but not a requirement.

Experience working in elderly care/dementia care is an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability to ensure we find the right employee for this role.

We have high quality demands on our operations and therefore expect you to have good documentation skills. Furthermore, you should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. It is advantageous if you have good computer skills and are accustomed to working with digital tools such as mobile phones, computers, or tablets.

You are proactive and attentive to our clients' needs and have a natural respect for others. You find it easy to collaborate with clients, colleagues, relatives, and other staff. We also see that you take responsibility, are flexible, and can handle stressful situations.

As the work of a care assistant can be physically demanding, it is important that you have good mobility and physical fitness.

A B driver's license is a requirement.
