The habilitation service is a county-wide specialist operation located in five locations in Dalarna. Each unit has child and youth habilitation as well as a county-wide adult habilitation with interdisciplinary teams possessing medical, psychological, social, and educational expertise. The habilitation service has an important and challenging mission to make life more possible for children, adolescents, and adults with congenital or early-acquired disabilities, as well as for their relatives. The interventions should contribute to a functioning daily life, good quality of life, and participation in society.

We are currently looking for someone interested in working as a temporary employee, primarily during the spring. There may be a possibility of extension.

You will primarily work with the habilitation's adult patients, but there may also be some assignments in the child and youth habilitation. You can choose to work remotely or at one of our clinics.

Job Responsibilities

Main job responsibilities:

• Eating and swallowing difficulties related to the disability
• Difficulties in meeting energy and nutritional needs
• Enteral nutrition, such as gastrostomy. Assess the need for a nutrition pump and prescribe it if necessary
• Testing and prescribing nutritional drinks, tube feeding, thickeners, and other special products in the nutrition area
• Provide consultative services to the individual's network through information/guidance, e.g., assistants, preschool, school, and short-term care

Additional Information

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed dietitian with several years of experience
• Knowledge of various disabilities
• Ability to work at least one day per week until the end of May 2025
• Experience working digitally

Meritorious:

• Experience from habilitation

Personal qualities:

You have a commitment and interest in working with our target group. You enjoy working in a team but also have a good ability to work independently. Through your professional approach and communication skills, you create good relationships with both colleagues and patients and their relatives. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
