JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Due to retirement, we are now looking for someone who wants to work nights with us at Bompabacken's nursing home in Transtrand.

If you also wish to work during the day, there is an opportunity for a combination.

Your tasks consist of providing care, help, and support to our residents. You collaborate and work solution-focused to meet the individual without infringing on their right to self-determination, integrity, and influence. A large part of the position involves traditional care and support work.

The assignment may consist of:

• Assisting with personal care such as showering, toilet visits, help with meals, etc.
• Documenting and managing medications
• Guiding and supporting the individual in a lifestyle that prevents ill health, e.g., based on diet, sleep, physical activity, and social stimulation

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or caregiver, but if you are untrained with a genuine interest in people, we will train you.

Previous experience in dementia care is considered an advantage. Additionally, the role requires that you can manage a digital journal system and that you have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

The position requires that you can independently plan your work to meet the needs that arise for those who need our help. We wish that you have a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who has a professional approach by always having a good attitude, believing in mutual respect, and being humble.

The work requires that you are flexible in your approach to how a day may look, that you have good initiative, collaboration skills, and enjoy solving problems.
