We are now looking for a general dentist with great commitment and interest in quality-oriented dental care for children and adults to join our clinic in Hedemora, who wants to work with us to maintain our vision.

Currently, the clinic has a clinic manager, clinic coordinator, 5 dentists, 3 dental hygienists, and 14 dental assistants. We are a cheerful team that works for high quality while enjoying our work.

The clinic is well-located with recall appointments for both adults and children, which allows us to offer the dentist varied tasks as well as an interesting and developing job. We value having a good atmosphere and a strong sense of community. We have a good and close collaboration with the county's specialist dentists.

The experienced dentists, hygienists, and assistants are happy to work delegated. If you are new as a dentist, you must of course learn all the procedures yourself before you can delegate.

We work shifts and have reduced working hours, which provides variety for the staff and the opportunity to get out in daylight even during the dark season.

Hedemora is a charming town located in southern Dalarna between Stockholm and the Dalarna mountains. There are plenty of swimming lakes near the city center, lovely cycling paths, ski trails, a golf course, a padel center, riding stables, a swimming pool, and ski resorts (Garpenberg 18km and Romme Alpin 45km), etc. Here you live centrally but still close to forests and nature. Commuting options by bus and train are within walking distance.

Job Responsibilities

You will have varied tasks within the general dentist's area of competence, with patients of all ages and all types of treatments. For experienced dentists, supervision of newly graduated dentists and dental students is also part of the job.

We have a digital impression scanner, digital X-ray, and use the T4 system for scheduling, finance, and record-keeping.

All new employees participate in our introduction program.

For newly graduated dentists, Folktandvården Region Dalarna offers supervision at our newly opened mentoring clinic Origo in Falun as a complement to the supervision at the home clinic. We know that supervision is of great importance for a newly graduated dentist, and the mentoring clinic Origo is a step towards ensuring that everyone has the same conditions for a good start in the profession.

Qualifications

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who has a Swedish dental license or is in the 10th semester at the Dental School.

You must be able to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

You have experience with the T4 system.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We would like you to work well with others and communicate with both colleagues and patients in a responsive and smooth manner. You believe that care and service are a natural part of the job and that it is obvious to involve the patient in possible treatment options. Furthermore, you are good at organizing and prioritizing work effectively.
