Temporary Physician for Palliative Team Ludvika/Borlänge

Job Responsibilities

Region Dalarna is looking for an engaged physician for our specialized palliative care located in Ludvika and Borlänge. You will be a key person in the care team for patients with complex care needs, often related to cancer or other serious illnesses. The organization promises you an interesting, educational, and developing workday. Here, you will have the opportunity to work in some home care teams in a flexible position that offers variation and development in your professional role.

Your Mission:

As a physician in specialized palliative care, you will become an important part of our team and be responsible for providing patients with complex care needs the best possible quality of life.

You will:

• Be responsible for patient care in close collaboration with nurses in the team and cooperate with other care providers
• Have the opportunity to participate in palliative rounds and contribute to the education of colleagues and healthcare staff

Additional Information

Qualifications

• Licensed physician with good knowledge of Swedish (at least C-level)
• Have a driver's license - as the job may involve travel within the county
• Preferably experience in palliative care or a specialty in the field
• Empathetic, flexible, and a team player

Meritorious:

• preferably a specialty in palliative medicine
• previous experience in palliative care
