The Care Administration works according to the value base that all people we meet have the same value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS activities, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care, and special accommodations. About 800 employees work here around the clock for our target groups.

Skogsgläntan is a special accommodation located in Skogsbo. Here are the departments Eken with 9 apartments for people with dementia, Rönnen with 9 apartments, and Björken, Syrenen, Granen, and Tallen with 15 apartments each. The entire accommodation is located on the ground floor, making it easier for everyone to access the garden and the beautiful outdoor environment around the accommodation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist nursing assistant, you will work with the usual tasks for nursing assistants. However, you should not be a contact person. The role of specialist nursing assistant means that you also do not take on representative roles that are not directly related to your specialist competence.

As a specialist nursing assistant, you have a special responsibility based on the needs of the operation. Your mission involves initiating, driving, and implementing quality and operational improvements to ensure a high standard within the operation. You also play an important role in supporting and mentoring your colleagues and developing working methods within care and support work.

In addition, you are expected to support the manager in the development of the operation based on the unit's specific needs. You function as a support function within the specialist area of dementia. Your work should be characterized by a preventive and rehabilitative approach to promote the health and well-being of users.

Another important part of your role is to support and introduce new employees and colleagues in the workplace. You may also have assignments as a supervisor or main supervisor for APL (workplace-based learning) and LIA (learning in work), as well as serve as a mentor for others.

Furthermore, you are expected to contribute to the effective use of the operation's resources in the best possible way. Collaboration both internally within the unit and externally with other actors is also an important part of your responsibility as a specialist nursing assistant.

As a specialist nursing assistant, you work closely with the unit manager to ensure that the care and support provided within the unit is of good quality. You have a close collaboration with the responsible nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist.

You are expected to be a good role model and ambassador for the operation, welfare technology, and the work with person-centered care as well as the operation's other current working methods and methods, such as IBIC and BPSD, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you need to be a trained nursing assistant with a post-secondary education in the form of vocational training of at least 200 credits or university studies of at least 60 higher education credits. The education should have a clear focus on cognitive disabilities such as dementia. It should also be focused on care and support or elderly care in its entirety.

It is also a requirement that you have sufficient knowledge of Swedish to communicate with users and document correctly. Basic computer skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work based on IBIC, BPSD, and other relevant methods. We would like you to have experience in supervision and mentorship.

We also prefer that you have experience in operational development within care and support. Previous work with people who have dementia or mental illness is also an advantage. Additionally, knowledge of social documentation and quality monitoring is meritorious for the position.

To succeed in the role, you need to be flexible and easily adapt to changing situations. You are eager to take your own initiatives and work purposefully to achieve results. Your ability to be service-oriented and meet others with calm and professionalism is important. We are looking for someone who is a good team player, has an easy time collaborating, and can handle conflicts constructively.

You need to be self-driven and able to take responsibility for your tasks by planning and driving your processes forward independently. We would like you to have pedagogical insight and be able to adapt your way of conveying information based on the recipient's needs and conditions.
