Medical Secretary at BUP Heldygnsvård

BUP Stockholm's section for Heldygnsvård is Sweden's largest inpatient care facility for child and adolescent psychiatry. The section consists of three units that provide inpatient care and an emergency reception. Most of the units are located in Södermalm, overlooking Årstaviken, and one unit is located at St Göran's hospital area in Kungsholmen.

The inpatient care units provide treatment for children and adolescents with complex psychiatric disorders and conditions such as psychoses, depression, eating disorders, trauma, etc., sometimes in combination with social difficulties or neuropsychiatric disabilities. Care is provided according to both HSL and LPT.

Job Description

Your responsibilities include writing medical records and managing documents in the Take Care medical record system.

Qualifications

You should have completed at least two semesters of training to become a medical secretary. Experience in inpatient care for children and adolescents is an advantage.

• employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
• in addition to Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed staff with patient contact.
