Vårdcentralen Limhamn is located in a growing area in Limhamn's waterfront city. We moved into our new, fresh premises in 2019 together with the Child Health Center (BVC) and the Maternal Health Center (MVC), which are now under the same roof. We are a unit that works for collaboration, high-quality care, and good accessibility for our approximately 13,500 registered patients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We have the opportunity to welcome a specialist physician in general medicine to us!

As a physician with us, you will be offered a stimulating job that covers the entire field of general medicine. Your tasks include regular outpatient work with planned and urgent visits, but there is also the opportunity to work at BVC and special housing. The maternal health care is in the same building, and working there allows you to enjoy following families over time.

There are good opportunities to deepen your knowledge in several specialty areas since our health center covers a wide area. Supervision is also included in the position, both of students and your future specialist colleagues who are doing their ST training with us.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed physician with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare and are a specialist in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are a requirement for the position. Education in geriatrics and/or internal medicine is meritorious for the position. Experience working in a health center is also meritorious, as is experience working with PMO.

You are a responsible and attentive person towards patients and colleagues. There is also a requirement for a flexible approach and the ability to take initiative. You work independently while collaborating within and across professional boundaries. For us, it is a given to always start from the patient's needs and conditions.
