Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, and social psychiatry, individual and family care.

JOB DUTIES

The work involves providing good care and support to our users and assisting them in their daily lives. You will help with daily/nightly tasks, personal hygiene, and medication distribution to those in need.

In the Night Patrol, you will assist users who require interventions and support during the night within home care. The Night Patrol covers all home care areas in Ystad municipality, both in urban and rural areas.

There will be both planned and spontaneous visits and responses to alarms during your shift. You should be good at planning and be flexible during your shift. Working hours are scheduled at night between 22:30-07:30.

QUALIFICATIONS

• You must be at least 18 years old to perform the tasks according to the requirements of the Work Environment Authority.
• You need to have a good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form (approved in basic Swedish for compulsory school grade 9 or SFI D).
• Experience in care and support work.
• Driver's license B.

Meritorious:

• Studying/studied the nursing program, child and leisure program, or other educational training that the employer deems equivalent.
