Within the area of operation (VO) for children and adolescents, we meet children aged 0 to 18 years with various medical conditions. With us, you will encounter a wide range of different diagnoses and conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, food allergies, celiac disease, growth disorders, eating difficulties, and diabetes.

We are part of interdisciplinary teams with doctors, nurses, speech therapists, nursing assistants, social workers, psychologists, medical secretaries, and physiotherapists. As a dietitian within VO children and adolescents in Helsingborg, you will work across our three clinics in Helsingborg, Ängelholm, and Landskrona, day care, as well as our inpatient care with pediatric and neonatal departments.

We are an organization in constant development where the competence of dietitians is both valuable and sought after. We work based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Nordic Association for the Needs of Sick Children (NOBAB) standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Within our area of operation, we are three dietitians who have a close collaboration and a clear division of labor with common goals.

The responsibilities mainly involve patient contact with individually tailored nutritional assessments and nutritional treatments. There is work within other diagnostic areas. The position is based in Helsingborg but may involve working at one of our other clinics as needed. Here you will meet patients physically on-site but also have digital healthcare contacts, and we are constantly working to develop our operations.

As a new employee, we offer individually tailored introduction to our operations with support from experienced colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed dietitian with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are required. Previous experience in the dietitian profession as well as working with children and adolescents is meritorious.

As a person, you enjoy working independently and like to collaborate both in small groups and in interdisciplinary teams. We wish that you have a genuine interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families. It is positive if you also have an interest in working with pediatric gastroenterology, for example, inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

We plan to conduct interviews on April 7th and April 14th.
